I Heart My Sewing Machine!

Thanks mom & dad for the best Christmas present! I absolutely LOVE my new sewing machine. I still need to take my lesson (I have no clue how to do button-holes, zippers and much more), but I've been doing pretty good on my own so far. I've made a bunch of baby gifts, the V-day dress for Charlotte and my latest project: a hooded towel for Charlotte!

I bought a few towels from Target and used some fabric I had for the appliques. I found a great tutorial online. I did break my first needle sewing the hood to the towel, but with some additional patience on my part, finally finished it. It turned out super cute! It's pretty big for our little girl, but she'll definitely grow into it and it will be perfect for the pool this summer.

It's Spring!

I'm just going to lay it out there that I suck at this blogging thing. I never have the time to sit down and do it and I keep saying I'm going to be better, but that only lasts about 2 weeks. So...no more apologies, when I get to it, I get to it. I hope whoever's still checking and reading continues to do so :)

The weather has warmed up and Charlotte absolutely LOVES to be outside. I snapped a few quick shots the other night. Check out her outfit - I picked her up from daycare and she had this new outfit on. One of the moms bought the wrong size and didn't feel like taking it back, so Charlotte got a new outfit...she loved the skirt, she kept touching it and smiling big, it was super cute.
